Jameson's farm, Finnerty Road, Ngaire, on Thursdaythe 15th instant; There was only a small attendance and bidding was rather slow, bnt the cow being» choice lot, sold'readily enough, some of them realising over sE7. The other stock, as well as sundries were also disposed oi underlie hammer, We quote: Milkers £4 7a 6d to £7 12s Gd ; 2 to 24 year heifers in calf £3 to £4 15s,
Our sale at Stratford on Friday, the 16th inatant, was not quite bo good us the previous one, though the entries wete nearly as large, but there was adulnessiu the market that made itself felt throughout the sale. However, the bulk of the cattle changed hands before le?viop the yards. We quote : 3 to 2syear steers, £3 22s 6a to £4 12s 6a; 18 months to 2 year steers, £3 2a to £8 0s 6d; 12 to 18 months steers, £2 lis to £2 Ids; cows and heifers in calf, £3 15s to £5 18s; 2to 2i year heifers, £8 5s Cd to .£8 da 6d. .
We bad a fair attendance at our Manaiasalaoa Wednesday, the 31st inst., bat though we had a magnificent lot of . cattle entered, bidding was slacker than wo have experienced during the past eighteen months, and very little business was done under the hammer, though several lines changed hands after the sale, priceß being from 5s to 16s per head lower than they were a month ago. We quote : Fat bullocks, £G to £6 as ; forward ditto, £i 16s to £& 17s 6d; 18 months steers, £2 16s to £3 8s; eowaincnlf, £8 IBs to £4 10s;
