For some months past the ladios of St Luke's Guild have worked exceedingly hard to preparing goods'for tho sale, which commenced at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon, and continued until 11 o'clockin the evening. The various stalls were divided as Mows: Refreshments—Mesdnmeß Fuller and Tully j Plain. Goods-Mrs I. B. Maclean; Fancy Goods - the Misses Wyeth ; Flowers-the Misses Tate and Miss Bissick.; Christmas treeMisses C, Tully, Edith ami Ella Wyelt, Mrs Skeet-had n poat-office, and by paving the nominal Bum of two pence, a letter was obtained contain" ing tsonje'good advice. All these ladieß worked wry bard in their respective duties and deserve no small'amount of praise for the able' «nj bMiw-like way in which tiicy

Tlio great attraction of the evening was talleavx vivants, in which number of children figured, These wero arranged by. the'.Misses Dunn (2) and Mies Brown, These young ladies havo spent a great doal of time and trouble in preparing the obildren (most" of whom aro Miss Dunn's pupils) for their parts. Tho oostumes were pretty and' varied, and a small platform whiek bad been oreoted was very neatw decorated and furnished, wbioh added greatly to tbe effect. Tkmusio for ' the tableaux was very sweetly played by tbe well-known. masloians, tho Misses 0. Fuller (violin)and M. Met (piano). The bazaar, which yielded the handsome sum of £B2, was in aid of tho liquidation of the Churoh and Sunday School debts, and the result must have been gratifying to those who assisted in making the affair sneli a deoided success. Miss F.: Wood played one or two seleotions at intervals, Tho piano used was kindly lent by Mr Gibson, At the conclusion of the ordinary Bale, tbe remaining goods were disposed of by auotion bv Mr P.
