Quarterly Meeting of the Greytown Wesleyan Church.

The Wesleyan quarterly meeting was held in the Greytown Church yesterday afternoon. There was s large attondanco of the office-bearers of the circuit, the chair being occupied by the Rev. J. J. Lewis, of Wellington.

The Rev. W. Bowse was also present. It was reported that the work of the circuit was in a very prosperous con. dition. Arrangements were made for next year, and MrH. Udy was appointed representative of the circuit at the Conference. ' It was reported that the Carterton Church, which was damaged by tlio late fire, is being put in repair, and improvements aro al6o being made to the Featberston Churoh. It was proposed to hold the annual Church Picnio in Mr J. Wakelin's paddock on Anniversary Day, 22nd January. Refreshments were provided, and the meeting, whioh was of a very harmonious and hopeful character, closed witli a voto of thanks to the chair.
