Sir,—A few days ago iu the course of an article in answer to the Rev. B. Wood, you were good enough to sneer fclvour own inimitable way at the ffiu»e of Prohibition in general, and the Eev. Canon Parrar in particular, You were good enough to tell us that Canon Farrar ie characterised cbieily by advocacy of Temperance and Vegetarianism and the use of strong language, and yon went on to contrast him with another "Kov. Father in God" we possess in New Zealand; but you failed to tell us what the chief characteristics of this latter gentleman are, and to be perfectly fair and just you ought to'have told ns, as ray Lord the Bishop himself has done in his public speeches, that his characteristics aro his'desertion of tko Temperanco cause of which bo was once an advocate and hit low of good to',—l am, etc, Prohibition,
