Syms, the acoused, gave a general denial to Mrs Hall's statements. A night watchman at Woodville named Ware said Dr. Davenport had told him at the end of February " I will have that old rasoal Syms out of this' yet, Markmy words." Mr Edwards is now addressing the Court, contending that no evidence shows Syms' to be guilty of the crime alleged.
Later. His Honour summed up at 2,16 p,UI,
At 6.25 p.m. the jury returned, finding the prisoner " Not Guilty," Syms wus then discharged.
