Protest Against the Mount Magdala Home Grant.
[By Telegraph,— Press Association,] Chribtchurcii, Friday. At the half-yearly meeting of the Canterbury and Weßtland Baptist Association, held yesterday, a resolution was passed expressing very empathic protest against the vole passed by the House of Representatives towards Mount Magdala Home, contending that the public money should not bo voted to any particular sect, which retains tho management of such an institution, The resolution was ordered to be sent to tho Premier.
