Later Particulars, (By Telegraph.—Press Association). Wellington, Thursday, Mr Danson, manager of therailway, stales that about an acre of land on which stood a number of trees, slipped down in front of tho tunnol on Sunday night, and sonio trees weighing at least six tons were swept along tho line for about oighty yards, Only tbe top of the tunnel can be seen, and there is in front of it a compressed mass of logs and small timber, intermixed with gravel and slush. Owing to the Btuff to be removed being codfiueil by the cutting and tunnol, the work of removing it will be slow, and it is questionable whether traffic will be resumed this weok.
