At yesterday's wool sales 8631 bales were offered and nearly all sold, The ruling rates were : lialf-breds, GJd to 9d, tbree-quarter-breds, Gd to" 8d; crossbred, 5d to 7sd; Merinos, 4Jd to 6|d, As compared with the opening sale last year, crossbreds are to p lower, Merinos are about on par.
