A Carrier Stopped, (By Telegraph-Press Association). Mautoh, Monday. A sticking up case occurred on Saturday on the road between Hunterville and Ohingaiti, a carter named Jas. McCauley being stopped by four men who demanded a case of whiskey which was in his cart. On his refusing, they attempted to take it by force, but two travellers coming to McUardey's assistance, the men were driven off.
