(By Telegraph-Own Correspondent), Pahiaiua, Saturday, The weather for ihe past week has been terrible, wind, rain, cto, being the order of the day, . The looal solicitors intend closing for a fortnight during the Christmas holidays. The half holiday movement is not a success here, and it is probable that the shops will be all opened again before long. A man named Roso bad his knee out rather severely on Wednesday afternoon whilst bushfalling in the Makuri.
