SERIOUS BUGGY ACCIDENT.
Two Carterton Residents Sadly Injured, Mr G. W. Deller, of Carterton, seems to be fairly in misfortune'fl way of late, and yesterday, while going to the Kokatau Bridge Celebration, he met with a serious accident. He was driving in a buggy accompanied by an elderly lady named Mrs Walker, when the shafts came adrift and the horse bolted, Mrs Walker become unnerved, at once, and jumping from the vehicle, (ell with great violence and was rendered insensible, It is feared she has sustained concussion of the brain, as last night she was still unconscious, Mr Deller stuck to the buggy until—through the strain all being on one shaft—tho wheels became locked, and he was thrown out heavily, his collar-bonoandarm being broken. Friends were soon in attendance, and Mrs Walker and Mr Deller wero conveyed back to Carterton, Very general regret iB expressed at the unfortunate occurrence.
