CRICKET NOTES.
The Oriental Cricket Club will be represented on Thursday in a match against the Excelsiors by-Galloway, B. Bennett, Warner, B, Jacliaon, Gardner, Webb, Wickens, Trass, Greatliead, Dougbty and Nicol; omorgenoies—6. Green and T, Wickens. The Excelsior team isW. Johnston (capt), B. Bagge, A. Bennett, H. Walker, I, L. D'Arcy, B, Walker, P, Green, Mason, Fleming, P. Corbett, B. Bowser. Emergencies, H, Waite, Donald, Roberts, The Pabiatua Cricket Club will make another tour to Hawko's Bay this season. Matches have been arranged with Napier, Hawke's Bay, Waipawa, and Waipukurau Clubs.
A match will be played at Carterton on the Beserve tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon between the Carterton and W.F.C.A. Clubs. The teams selected are:—W.F.O.A. —Alf Clayton (capt), Alf Csselberg, T.
