COURT OF APPEAL.
Sharland and Go's Appeal Upheld,

Wellington, Wednesday.
Jn the Appeal Court this morning, Judgmeut was given in the case Sharland versus the Commissioner of Trades and Uustotns, the appeal being allowed, and a new trial grunted. His Honor Judgo Bichmond thought the application lor a new trial had hemi properly dismissed in the Court below, but Judges Williams and Denniston were of a contrary opiuion, Costs on the highest scale were allowed. Mr Gnliy gave notice to move lor leave to appeal to the Privy Council.
