RIFLE MATCH.

A match was fired yestorday between tho first team of the Wellington Rifles and the second team of the Masterton Volunteers, resulting in a nin for the la'ter team. The o mutty corps is to bo congratulated on its success, as shooting lws been at a rather low ebb lately, and it is hoped that this victory will revive the interest in shooting. Kutherfurd, for Greytown, made exceedingly good shooting, being the highest scorer of the day with 93, out of a possible 105. A splendid luncheon was provided by the home team on the ground.
