WEDDING AT GREYTOWN.

A wedding of considerable interest took place this (Monday) morning at St, Luke's Church, Greytown, the Rev. T.B, McLean officiating. The principals of the ceromony wore Mr John R, Nicol, son of Mr James Niool, of Masterton, and Miss Lily Barratt, daughter of Mr 1). Barratt, of Greytown. The church was crowded to oxcess with friends of tho young couplo, and the service was a very pretty choral one. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, looked charming in a travelling dresa of silver grey Bengalee, fastened with a beautiful gold brooch set with pearls, a present from her partner, She was attended by Miss M. Barratt and Miss E, Nicol as bridesmaids, both of whom were tastefully attired in costumes of coral pink corduroy, with white hats and feathers. Both wore handsome gold bracelets, elegantly set with pearls and rubies, the gift of tho bridegroom. Mr Nicol was accompanied by his brother Mr G. W. Nicol (in the capacity ot best man), and Mr W. J, Knell. Each of tho ladies carried beautiful boquets, arranged with considerable tasto. The "Wedding March " was played by Mr Flux as the bridal parly left the Church, and a perfect storm of rice greeted the 'liappy couple ns they walked to the carriages. A large number of guests about forty in all, followed the newlywedded couple to tho home of thobride, in drags provided for the occasion, where a splendid wedding fakfast was partaken of. The presents from well-wishjrs were inspeoted by the company, and were both costly and numerous, Mr and Mrs Niool leave Greytown by this afternoon's train, and proceed to Obristohurch, where they spend their honeymoon.
