A number of supporters of Mr John Stovens at tho last election, entertained him last night at a banquet at the White Hart Hotel, Marton, and presented him with a purse of sixty-one sovereigns. Visitors were present from all parts of the electorate. It was a very enthusiastic meeting. Messrs fcjeddon and Carroll were presont.
