A young man named Dumage, brother-in-law te Mr T. Cotter, late of the Temperance hotel here, but now proprietor of the Makuri hotel, was brought into town late last night Buffering from a Bevero cut on his left foot, received whilst bußhfelling in the Mangahao, He was cutting a large tree, when his axe slipped, tf ttlsg the toes of his left foot nearly off. He Tvaa carried out of the bush ' by four of his mates a distance ot 12 miles. He ii now lying ,at the Temperance hotel in a precarious ; condition. ■■■■/.
