MASTERTON B. & W. MANUFACTURING COMPANY, Ltd.
The monthly meeting of Directors of the Masterton Blacksmith and Wheelwright Company, Limi'ed, was held in tho Company's office, Perry street, on Saturday last, Present: Messrs J. StucKey (Chairman) J, McGregor, T. P. Lett, VV. Percy, ami D, McKenzie. Mr A. W. Cave sent an apology for unavoidable ab-enee. A letter from Mr T. Dixon waa received enclosing the copy of a resolution passed by employers and employes in the trade ro closing at 3 p.m. on Saturdays, Air McGregor proposed and Mr W. Perry seconded, that Messrs Duniell and Lett be appointed to confer with the other Blacksmiths and Wheelwrights and their employes re early closing, and roport to ft meeting to be beid on tho 15th inst. The proposition was put and carried. Accounts were passed for payment and the meeting adjourned,
