(Press Association,) i» Donedis, October 2, The boating season was opened with tho usual procession'of boats, and notwithstanding the raw,cold weather, was well attendod, a large number of boats of all kinds taking part. The children attending tho Baplist Sunday School ninstorod largely on Saturday to oelobrate tbo centaury of tho Bapttßt Mission Society, and after marching in procession were entertained at tea. Special services were hold in the city and suburban churches in connection with tho cele* bration. Mary Gardiner, 56, housekeeper at Abbotsforrl, was found dead in bed. The death is supposed to bo due to natural causes.
