DEATH OF A RACEHORSE.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Wellington, Monday, Merion, a valuable trotting horse, 1 belonging to Mr Petty was billed this morning. Becoming fractious it got away and impaled itselt on the pole of a cart, Mr Petty only bought it lately at a high figure.
