E, Eiddiok was fined Is for permitting a cow to bo at largo. F, Biltoriwas fined Is on a similar charge CITIL CASES, P. Jackson v.'F. Bilton,—Olaimfor wages, £8 10s. Mr H, S. Izard for defendant, Mr Acheson for plaintiff, Tho plaintiffstatod that he had been working for the defendant for stnie time but had no agreement, Tho defendant stated that ho usually paid from 10s to 15s per week to the men who formerly did the duties required of plaintiff, but plaintiff was not worth that, It was understood that Jackson should remain at the hotel and do odd jobs, for which lie received bi3 board and lodging and a shilling or two for tobacco. Judgment was given forthe defendant.
