THE YOUNG AUSTRALIANS.
Referring to the "Young Australians" who appear to-morrow (Saturday) evening in the Masterton Theatre Royal, one of our exchanges speaking of the performance says that " from tbe rise of the curtain tbe audience became more and more enthusiastic, until tbe famous song " Tara-rn-boom-de-ay " vffta reached, when the whole house rose en masse and simply shrieked with the intense fun produced. There was fun from the rise of the curtain until its final fall, but fun refined, never vulgar or obtrusive." The company consists of some very clever young people ranging in ages from ten to sweet sixteen. Each of them is' thoroughly well trained and the majority possess excellent voices.
The piece to he produced on the opening night is the burlesqueentitled, "Selimand Zulieka," and we may .safely predict a large house to greet it.
