The Canterbury Football team which has been visiting the North Island, spent nearly tbreo weeks in their lour, and played four matches altogether. They defeated Auckland and Hawkes Bay, but were defeated by Taranaki and Wellington, The annual match between Canterbury and Otago takes place next Saturday,
Wellington has been very successful in representative football matches this season. The record, according to the Post, is as follows:—Senior Rugby—Beat Hawkes Bay by .11 points to five; beat Wairarapa by 20 to 4; beat Canterbury by 12 points to 3. Junior Eugby—Beat Wairarapa by 7 points lo 2, Association Rules-Beat Otago, Canterbury, and Auckland.
