The Wellington representative learn arrived at noon to-day, They are a fine, athletic-looking lot of fellows, and are strong favourites for tho match with Wairarapa, which was commenced at one o'clock on the oval. The ground is very sloppy, but the weather is fino, Mr C, A, Pownall is acting as referee, The garno is to be played in two forty-minuto spells.
Mr Hillier, of Grey town, has offered a eilver cup to the winner of the football match Greytown Fire Brigade v Second Stars, of Masterton, which will be played on tho 17th on the Reserve,
