Drowning of two Millionaires. [united pkess association.] Ottawa, August 27. Isaac Bearinger and Hiram Sebley, American millionaires, have been drowned while on a yaohting cruise in the western waters of the Dominion, Washington, August 27. The Government deny Hawaii's claims to Cornwallia Island, and assert they never owned it, " New York, August 28, '■] The Metropolitan Opera House in this city has been burned down. Several large fires have occurred in New York. By one a factory was totally destroyed, involving a loss of £50,000. ' •
