BOROUGH COUNCIL NOMINATIONS.
The following are the nominations received for the three vacancies in the Masterton Borough Council;—Easl Ward—Edwin Feist, nominated by Messrs B. M, Galloway and & E. Qapper.' West Ward-Willianv-jJ&r. len, nominated by Messrs jas. Siilars; and fj. E'. Daniell'; Samuel E. Gap : per, nominated by Messrs W. B, phonnells and 'E, H, Waddington! Outer Ward—John by Messrs Henry Timraß and E, H, Waddinglon. Messrs Feist and. Heesey aro therefore returned upopposed, and Messßrs Cullen and Gapper will contest the West Ward. The election will take place on Thursday, the Bth day of September,
