MASTERTON.-MONDAY.
(Beforo Messrs B, Boys and W. Lowes, J.P.'s) EMBEZZLEMENT, Harry Greenroyd wasoharged with embezsling the sum of £6B whilst in partnership with Messrs Ashwin and Kelleherat Stratford. Mr Pownall appeared for the ftcoused, who was, on tho application of the police, remanded to appear at Stratford on the 27th inst, \ LABOENYAB A BAILEE, Aubrey Wills was charged on remand with the larceny of a horse, laddie and bridle, tho property of Mr W, G, Speedy, of Tenui. Mr Pownall appeared for the prosecution and Mr Beard for the accused. Mr Pownall intimated-*hat the informant did not propose* offering any evidence, (Sergeant M'Ardle claimed the expenses of the arresting constable. The sum of £L 5s 6d was allowed for expenses, and the accused was discharged,
