Mr Pownall appeared for the ftcoused, who was, on tho application of the police, remanded to appear at Stratford on the 27th inst, \ LABOENYAB A BAILEE, Aubrey Wills was charged on remand with the larceny of a horse, laddie and bridle, tho property of Mr W, G, Speedy, of Tenui. Mr Pownall appeared for the prosecution and Mr Beard for the accused. Mr Pownall intimated-*hat the informant did not propose* offering any evidence, (Sergeant M'Ardle claimed the expenses of the arresting constable. The sum of £L 5s 6d was allowed for expenses, and the accused was discharged,
