SOCIAL AT BLAIRLOGIE JUNCTION.

It is a pleasant duty indeed to Lave to cbronjole suph a complete success as the second social gathering given this winter by Mr E. Leo, the genial host of the Blairlogie Junction Hotel, and held there on the 12th Inst. The ypring and'fair gathered fromall parts pf the dißtrict to enjoy themselves and "chase the glowing' hours with flying feef." The interior of the dancing had' been transformed into a -pettily-decorated ball-room, and every accessory for the pleasure and comfort of their guests had been carefully thought out and provided for by Mr Lee, ably assisted.by Miss Warner, who acted on ibis, as well as on the last occasion, as hostess in the absence of Mrs Leo (who is still in the Old Country), The music, which was unusually good, was supplied by Mr Newman (piano), A most unselfish and attentiveM.C. (Mr '6. Bladder), and a really good floor left little "or | nothing to be desired; in fact everything combined, it was one of the most enjoyable dances ever held in the district, '■ . s- .■ '.' • • - ' Baring the evening vocal items were rendered by Messrs Vennell, Blackler,

and Newman, and a hornpipe by Mr R. Moßae.
