A Masterton Celebrity. MrC.H. Campbell Once More. He Figures in Court. [By Telegraph.—Press Association.] Wellington, Tuesday, Tho hearing of the oharge against Low, alias Campbell, commenced in tho R.M. Court this morning, before Mr Robioßon. Sergeant-Major Earnsay prosecuted ou behalf of the police, and Mr Skerrett defended. There are four charges against the accused, viz,: —Passing valueless cheques to Littlejobn and Son, and Cameron and Christie, ironmongers, and obtaining money and board and lodging under false pretences from tho proprietors of the City Buffet Hotel, Later, Low's case will not be finished till late in the afternoon. The hearing had not nearly concluded at one o'clock. The Court will be resumed !at 2,30.
