Timabu, August 15, T. Oiirrutli, labourer, was convicted by two Justices to-day for'falsely re|iresenting himsrlt us a traveller in two hotels on Sunday, the 17th ult,, and tliwtiy ohiMining liquor. He whs fined £2 10s on each charge. Tlroo licens-es were prosecuted on his evidence; two got oh",on disproof j-the iliirri was convicted, but an appoal is set down for to-morrow.
