Carterton, Wednesday,

As a married couple of the family of tho Kayners and Dayßliß, of the Taratahi, were driving through Carterton yesterday afternoon with their friends, the horse shied when opposite the post office, and came into collision with the telegraph post. Tho trap was upset and the sister of the bride got her leg broken in two places, the others escaping with trifling injury. Dr Johnston was soon on the spot and Bet theinjnnd limb. A brake, was then procured, and tho sufferer /was taken to her parents' residence at TOo Taratahi.
