Fortnightly Mating, The fortnightly meeting of the Maslerton Borough Council was held in the Institute Chambers last (Tueadaj) evening, there being present His Worship the Mayor and Cre Perry, E. Chamberlain, Feist, Gapper, T. Dixon, Hessey and Heron. An apology for absence was read from Cr Mutrie. ■ MINUTES. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. COHBESPONDENCE. From B. J. Searl, requesting that his name be inserted on the Burgess 801 l for section jn Queen-street, From. }V. Betty; junr,, and J. Montgomery, with sipiilaf request."' From John Hessey, ofrering to pay portion of cost of forming Auguststreet. From the Municipal Firo Brigade, acknowledging the thanks of the Council, and calling attention to the (act that the ladders were being put to unlawful use, The entrance to the Theatre Royal rendered it ungate and dangerous to those using it in case of fire or panic* From W. H. De Lisle, drawing at» tention to the disgraceful state of West Bush road. From H.J. O'Leary,' stating that
