At a meeting of tho Canterbury Rugby Union the other evening it was resolved " That a letter be sent to the New South Wales nnd English Rugby Unions repudiating any connection with the New Zealand Rugby Union, and that a letter be sent to the Oiago Union endorsing their opinion iu tho matter."
