Inquest Adjourned for a Fortnight,

Invercaiioill, July 29.
The inquest oniltichard Bell, who was shot at Lora Gorge, was adjourned at 11 last night for two weeks to enable the polico to trace the ownership of the gun. John Mcßae, an old settler in the district, and the falbor of a cjrown-up family, who was arreßted yesterday on tbe charge of murder, has been remanded for d week.
At present the only evidence Xfipt him is tbe statement of tbe wfe that deceased told her" Mcßae did it."
