[to the editor,] Sin,—l rather regret your having placed a local in your yeßteiday (Wednesday's) paper relative to my going to New Plymouth, as the announcement, reading as it stands, would make people believe I was leaving Masterton to live there permanently. This is not the case. I am only going, as advised, ior a change, after a sharp illness, and if possible to improve my present weak state, Yours, etc, T. W. Shute,
