HUNT CLUB BALL

h Successful Gathering. [By Telegraph,] (From Our Special Reporter). Gbeytown, Saturday. Two hundred and fifty people were at the first annual ball of the Wairarapa Hunt Club in the Palace Hall last night, and it was in every way eucceßsful. The attendance wan thoroughly a district one, there being visitors from all townships,'including even Alfredton and Eketahuna, The IJnifed Hunt Club was represented by Idr D. H. fttackinn'on, Secretary, and Mr p. poa]jjs, Puntsni'an, who came up from Wellington. 1 The Hall was tastefully decorated with trophies and symbols of the hunting field.
