Annual Report The following report concerning tho Mastir.on Hospital for the past year lias been presented to the House of flepresentatives by Dr. MacGrcgor : Number of patients remaining on the Bht March, 1891,4; admitted during the year, 77; mini under treatment, 81; discharged, 66; died, 5; remaining on 81st March, 1892, 10. Sox; tjtn males and 10 females. Localities from which patients came: Masterton, 21; Whareama, 17; Miatna, 13; liketahtina, 8; Brancepetb, 5; liideford, 5; Mauriceville, 5; Gladatone, 2; Mnrtiiiliorongh, 2; Auckland, I; Dunetlin, 1; unknown, 1, Country: England, 27; Scotlaud,]B; Ireland, 17; New Zealand, 15; Norway, 2; Walea, 2; Australia, 1; Canada, 1; Austria, 1; Denmark, 1; Greece, 1. Eeligwn: Church of England, 28; Roman Catholic, 17; Presbyterian, 15; Weßlejan, 14; Lutheran, 4; Greek Church, 3. Total collective days' stay in Hospital, 2,916; individual average daja' stay, 86, Daily Average cost per head, 4s BJd ; less pntienis' payraeniß, 3s IOJd. This Hospital is au object of legitimate prido to the district. A very great deal o! interest is taken in its welfare
by the townspeople, and, as a quence, it is thoroughly' woll looked after, A great deal of credit is duo to Mr Boddinglon for bis careful supervision for ao many years.
