THE CHOLERA PLAGUE.
Mortality in South Russia.
(Presß Association.) St. Pjstersburo, July 4. Cholera continues to spread in the Trans-Caucasian provinces, and great mortality is reported, At Baku, the bodies of those who have died of cholera have been left unburied. The soare is so great that the authorities are leaving town, and the doctors, being unable to cope with the disease, are characterised as cowards. The epidemic has obtained a firm hold in Astrakhan, and is still spreading.
