FASHIONABLE JEWISH WEDDING.
[AUCKLAND STAR, WEDNESDAY, JUNE 29,] This afternoon a fashionable wedding eventuated at the Auckland Synagogue, Princps-Rtreot, which has caused quite a flutter of oxcitenient during the past few weeks not only in Jewish circles but also in society circles, The bride was Miss Bosetta Keesiog, only daughter of Mr E, Keesinfj, of Park Boad, and an old Auckland identity, and the bridegroom Mr Myer Caselberg, of Masterton, managing director of the Wairaiapa Farmers' Co-operative Association. The ceremony was fixed to take place at 2 o'clock, but long before that hour the Synagogue was packed with eager sightseers, .the fair sex, of course, largely predominating. At 2 o'clock the bridal party drove up' to the entrance of the church, The first to alight from the carriages were the bridegroom and the " best man," Mr Arthur H. Nathan, and the father and mother of the bride, Then followed Mr and Mrs Harry Keesing and the bride, who was attended by her bridesmaids Miss Benjamin (of Melbourne) and Beryl and Gordon, the little son and daughter of Mrs Harry Keesing. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr Goldstein, and a large and efficient choir rendered the musical portion of the ceremony ip a post creditable manner. The happy couple were married under a canopy, which wbb supported by four of the bride's nephews, The bride's trousseau was very handsome and was made at Milne and'Choyce's establishment, She was. attired in white Beugalin'e silk, richly trimmed with orange blossom and lily of the valley, chiffon and wreath to matoli. The bride carried in her hand a boquet of white blossoms and tern,
Miss Benjamin wore a handsome dress of cream silk, with tasteful gold "trimmings and hat to match, She carried a boquet of pale yellow roses and fern,
Mrs Harry Keesing was attired in a dark purple tweed, bat en suite, and carried a lovely boquet of fern and violets, I
Beryl, the little daughter of Mrs Harry Keesing, was dressed in an extremely pretty cream silk dress, with ohiffon cape and lace hat, twined baby ribbon and lily of the valley, while her brothor wore a nice sailor's suit. The bride's mother was attired in a very handsome wine-coloured silk costume, with bonnet to match.
After the ceremony the wedding party adjourned to the Grand Hotel, where the wedding breakfast was held. Mr P, Gaudin, the genial proprietor, outdid himself in the matter of decorations, and the menu was an excellent one, At the side of the huge wedding cake was a beautiful large oushion of violets, sent byCora and Stella Alexander. Mr and Mrs Casellierg spend the honeymoon at Okoroire.
