Auckland, Thursday. Lady Fox died suddenly this morning. Sir 'William has been confined to his bed for the last week with a severe attack of lufluenza. Lady Fox was seized at four yesterday afternoon and ! rapidly sank into a state of torpor, After losing her speech she never rallied and expired peacefully and apparently painlessly. She had been i very active for her age, and en« joyed good health. She had ordered a carriage for to-day to attend the Jubilee Kindergarten meeting, According to the views of the deceased and Sir William, tho in. terment will be private, and no mourning will be worn,
