At the annual meeting of the 'fusing Bench the Chairman spoko rather strongly of the number of complaints agrinst houses, and the fre< quency with which they change hands, The committee warned the Star Hotel that the licei.SQ would be taken away if there were further complaints of drunkenness on the premises, 11 also stated it had good reason for believing that one license had made a false declaration before a J,P, to enable her to sell out and take another Hotel, and warned her agaiust a repetition of this conduct, ilo extensions beyond 11 p.m. were granted.
