The Board of Review.

The first sitting of the Board of Beview under the Land and Income Assessment Act for the Wairarapa North and Eketahuna districts was held in the Masterton Courthouse this (Wednesday) morning, the Reviewers present being Messrs Eli Smith, D, Guild, and A. W. Benall,

Mrii. Smith whb appointed Chairman of the Board. Mr C. M, Crumbie, Commissioner of Taxes, was also present. A number of objections against the valuation of tho Government Assessors were heard, and in some eaftneduetione niaih. The, Board will probably be occupied a couple of days in the hear« ing of tho various objections. A full list of the reductions made will be published at ihe conclusion of the sitting.
