Considerable quantiof both green and.dry skins' have been submitted by our Wellington house daring the week, every lot being disposed of at full market rates. We quote as follows: Green crossbreds, 3s |Qd to 4a 8d; dry skins, 4d to 5d per pound.' Wheat.—No alteration to report, good whole fowls is Helling from 2s 8d to 8s per bushel. Chaw—Meets a ready market in Wellington, £8 5s ex trucks, saoks returnable, for good sample. Hemp.—There is a slightly better enquiry, but prices are not in accord" ance with vendors' ideas of values, and sales of any moment have consequently not taken plaoo, owners preferring to chance the Home markets. Frozen Mem.-(Jar last London cable is as follows ':-The muti on and lamb markets are quiet; Welling'on and Canterbury mutton is worth respectively 4d and 4f d per pound; Canterbury lamb is worth s|d. The beef market is dull and quotations nominal. The market is overstocked with American beef.
