&MrF, il. Wood held bia usual fortnightly stock sale at the I'aratahi yards yesterday and reports of the lame as follows;—A large quantity of stock 1 was yarded. The bidding for skeap was slack, and several lots were passed in, but these were sold privately after the sale, while for cattle the bidding waa spirited, every line selling rapidly under the hammer, the demand greatly exceeding' the supply. The following prices were realised: — Sheep.—Ewes in lamb 10s to lis, ewea empty, 9s, lambs (culls) 5s Gel, Cattle.—Calves 17s to 87s, steers and heifers 2 years 605,. Heifers (springing) 62s 6d to 925, cows in milk 85s 'to 80s,''
