MAURICEVILLE ROAD BOARD.

The ordinary meeting of the Mauriceville Eoad Board was held on Saturday, the2Bth May,at 1.80p.m (which will in future be the hour of meeting), Present, Messrs C; Foraberg (Chairman), J. Bannister aud J. F. Heckler. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed and correspondence outward. Correspondence inwards, From Colonial Treasurer re 10 per cent on Loan of £4OO tor Mauricevillo West road, From Mrs Kiogard, stating that more land had been taken from her in forming Johnston's road thin she agreed to. It was decided that the Chairman see the plans in the hands of the Board's solicitor, and ascertain the exact acreage taken. From Mr Martin Kennedy, calling attention to the state of the water table in the recently-formed portion of Dreyer's' Rook road, The Clerk ivus instructed to reply that the Board had just taken over' this road from the contractor, aud that fatepa would at once be taken to clear the road of slips etc, as fur ns funds are available for this purpose. From Mr P. Gleeson, requesting the Board to fell'hush on road line through section No 100.- It was decided that Mr ■ Bannister infervievjr Mr Gleeson on this matter.
