CORRESPONDENCE.

County Tendering, [to the editor, wairarapa daily TIMES.] Sir,—lt .seems very strange to me that the Wairarapa North County Council should call tenders on two occasions for a certain road work and then not accept the lowest tender, Suoh a proceeding is manifestly unfair to me, I have worked for the County on several previous occasions during the last twelve years, and have not had any complaints regarding my work. Furthermore my price was a fair one, and I could have carried out the work according to specification. —lam, etc,, ■ John Anderson, Tenui, 21st May.
