EJucational endowments were blocking settlement, and would have to be dealt with by Parliament, Tbe following resolution was carried unanimously : " This meeting thanks the Minister for his address, and expresses its confidence in the policy of the Government as striving to promoto the settlement of the land, and also a fair adjustment of the burdens of the people.
