MABTBRTON—WEDNESDAY; (Before His Honour District Judgo Robinson). OFFICIAL ASSIGNEE V. KIDDLE' This was a coso in which the Ofh\ cial Assignee summoned William Kiddle, of the Tauerd, to show cause' why ho Bhould not hand over to the estate of George Townsend, bankrupt, ono bow, trap and harness. Mr Bunny appeared for the Aesig--neo and Mr Pownall for the respondent, Mr W, B, Ohennells, Deputy Official Assignee, deposed that George Tomend became a'bankrupt on the of February, The statement of assets and liabilities of the bankrupt showed a diflciency of £BO 5s sd. The property had realised £76, and book debts so far £23, but of .the 'amount, rent £8 2s 6d, and bailment to Mr Yallance, of £3B or £39 had been" paid. The property had been seized by Mr VftlInnce prior to the bankruptcy. Wages claims amounting to £45 had also been paid, The estate would not pay
