Mrs M, L, Morgan, Clifton, Aratapu, Auckland, N, Z, under dato 23rd January, IBD2, writes!— i Dear Sir,—Come two years ago, hav* 1 ing previously enjoyed good hcalth,l was ' seriously taken ill, and found it very difficult to get relief. At first I treated 1 myself thinking that I should soon be well a«aiu; but my illness grew upon me and 1 was completely prostrated, and unable to do anything, 1 sought medical advice from cur local doctor, and ho prescribed for mo, My ailment was described as black jaundice and gall stones, j and at times I Buffered much pain, Our doctor's treatment did not do me much good, as the attacks were frequent and very severe. Some months passed, and I felt that I was becomim; hopelessly ill. My lriends wore shocked ai roy sallow and changed appearance, and moro than one lias told mo since that they never oxpccted to sec me wollawin, I went to Auckland for clianfo of air and scone, and to seek further medical advice. I got it, and for a tune seemed to improvo, the change evidently doing me good; but it was not roxic enough, for after a week' . or so I was again hid up, All the medioiil aid 1 got in Auckland seemed unavailing, and 1 returned home with very little to hope for, Here I | suffered severe attacks, and had to lay up repeatedly, My husband had a very poor opinion of patent medicines, but seeing Clement's Tonic advertised as of such wondorful effoct in sorious cases, and beiti>: quite at a loss to suggest any other untried remedy, he brought home a bottlo and we determined to try it. At the same timo wo resulved to say noth" ing of the medicine wo were using until fully satisfied of its effects. The tint <!oso did me good and 1 improved rapidly. Friends who would not havo been surprised to hear of my death wero really astonished at my recovery. I waß soon satisfied as to tlio value of Clennnfa l'onic, and gladly recommended it to others, and so did my husband, The storekeeper spoke to him one day and asked him if he had been recommending Clements Tonic, for he had almost sold out, and had only one bottle lefi. " Givo it to uio," said my husband, " I wouldn't be without it for anything," Jly the time I had taken ono buttle I was able to get about my work again. Friends thouL'ht the improvement only tempor ■ ury, and expected to see mo prostrated again, but I am tlmntdul to say that such has not been the case. Every dose did its work, and after a fortnight I only took one dose a diy, in tho early morning. 1 havo used only three bottles, and lwve tho fourth iii tho house, Ido not take it regularly, but lly to it on tho least symptom of anything being wrong, and 1 have many times proved it to be a good preventive of returning sickness, It is now eight or nine months since I recovered, and Clement's Tonic has kopt mo to good health all through, I can again get on with my house and dairy work with comfort and pleasure, I am pleased to be able to recommend Clement's Tome, for I havo found it a true lriend, and am convinced that it will ?ivo health to many suffering, if they will only give it a trial,-1 am, Sir, yum gratefully, M L, MORGAN.
