Tho Epoat Faraors' Anion (Its.) Report. On Friday, the Bth inst., we held our fortnightly salo at Stratford. All the advertised entries oarae forward for sale, though in many instances the quality of the stock w*b not a credit to the district, the result being that everything good elicited keen competition, whilst poor quality cattle were quite neglected, We quote; 12 to 18 month Bteers, L2 6s to L 8 8s; weaned yearlingß, LI 7s to LI 17e 6d; fat cows, Lt to L 4 8s; springers, Li 5s L 5 2s 6(1. On Wednesday, the 18th inst,, at Manaia, wo had a vory largo ontryof cattle and without exception the quality of thera (bor two or three pens) was very superior, in faot better than we over remember offering for salo before. The attendance was large but bidding was not so spirited as might have been expected considering tho quality of the stock, resulting in several pans not reaching owners reserves, though tho bulk of the cattle changed hands before loaving the yards.
